College World Series Regional
The prognosticators did not quite have it right. The regional games schedule was released yesterday and the Ducks will be headed to Santa Barbara for their first regional game against San Diego. The game is scheduled for noon on Friday.
The Oregon State Beavers will host a regional match and they will face Tulane on Friday beginning at 6pm with a 5:30 pregame on KCFM.
Hall of Fame Inductee
Katy Potter is the latest name to be recognized in the siuslaw High School Hall of Fame. Katy is known for her prowess in cross country and track and field with a moniker of one of the all-time best distance runners in viking history. She claimed the state cross country title in 2012, was a state runner up in the 3000 meter race in 2013. She owns school records in the 300 and 5000 meter, ranks third in the 1500 and seventh in the 800. She now resides in North Carolina.
