Football Teams from six other schools will be at Siuslaw’s Hans Petersen Field for a 7-on-7 tournament this afternoon. The host Vikings will be fielding two teams in the double elimination tournament. Two contests will take place, one at each end of the field, beginning at 4:30. The Viking Burger Wagon will be serving Oklahoma Smash Burgers and Double Barrel Dogs, it is open to the public.
The Eugene Emeralds are on hiatus this week for the MLB All Star Break, they’ll return to the field tomorrow in Pasco, Washington where they’ll start a three game series against the Tri-City Dust Devils.
