Ems to Take on Indians
The Eugene Emeralds are currently in 3rd place in the Northwest League Standings, 7 games behind the league leading Spokane Indians. The Ems have had a tough time against the Indians, but have a chance to make up some ground this evening as they begin a 6 game home stand against Spokane. Game time at PK Park will be at 6:35.
Ducks Looking for Starting QB
With Bo Nix graduated and Ty Thompson transferred out the Oregon Ducks are rotating several players in the quarterback position to try and find their starting qb. One of the possibilities is a transfer in Dillon Gabriel. Gabriel was the 8th ranked passer last season and was previously at University of Central Florida and Oklahoma. He was a Manning award finalist in his 2023 season at Oklahoma. The Ducks also have Austin Novostad and Brock Thomas who were freshman in 2023.
