Ems Schedule
The Eugene Emeralds will begin their 6 game home stand this evening at PK Park. They will face the Hillsboro Hops who are 4 games ahead of the emeralds in the Northwest League. The Ems have been struggling of late and have fallen back into 4th place in the league with just 24 games remaining in the season.
Viking Sports
Along with football practice this week the Siuslaw Viking volleyball team and the Cheer team have begun workouts. All this week student athletes will be in the gym or on the field preparing for another season. Volleyball competition begins on August 29th as does boy’s and girl’s soccer.
