Ems Series
The Eugene Emeralds begin a 6 game series on the road this evening against the Tri-City Dust Devils. The two team hold the two bottom spots of the league with just 18 games remaining. The Ems will have two more series after this one. First it will be the Everett Aqua Sox and then the league leading Spokane Indians to finish off the season.
College Football
The Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers are preparing for the upcoming season. Both teams have been on the field. the beaver have a new coaching staff and hoping all the turmoil from the break-up of the Pac-12 is behind them. They will face Idaho State at home on Saturday August 31st. the Oregon Ducks are getting ready for a big change as they enter the Big 10, but up first for the ducks will be Idaho, also on August 31st.
