The Point After
This evening Head Siuslaw football coach Sam Johnson will be the guest on a new program featuring Ryan Denning. The pair will go over the upcoming game against Marshfield and highlight the beginning of the football season. The program will air on KCST beginning at 7:05.
Volleyball
Mapleton Volleyball will be on the court this evening for two matches. First will be a 5:30 matchup against Triangle Lake and the second will be at 7pm against Crow. Both matches will be played at Crow High School.
Viking volleyball will be in Bandon for a match this evening.
Ems Defeat Canadians
The Eugene Emeralds bounced back from their Tuesday night loss against the Canadians with a 10-7 victory last night. The Ems hammered 3 home runs in the first inning for a 4 run lead. In the top of the second they homered again to add two more runs. A wild pitch scored their 7th run in just the first two innings. The Canadians would post a rally in the 8th but not enough to overcome the deficit.
