This evening the Siuslaw Vikings will host the 4A Marshfield Pirates. Viking head coach Sam Johnson says the pirates are big fast and strong.

“(they are) a perennial powerhouse at the 4A level and it’s kind of a little bit of a rivalry if we both won state championships in 2021 and I guess we’ll settle it three years later as to who is the better team on the coast.”

Pregame on KCST is at 6:45 this evening with kickoff at 7pm.
