Volleyball
Siuslaw Volleyball was scheduled to play a home game this evening against Waldport. That match has been cancelled dur to what Siuslaw Athletic Director Chris Johnson called logistical issues. There is not a current plan to make up the non-league game. Next up for volleyball will be Sutherlin, their first league game on the 24th.
Mapleton Volleyball will host Alsea this evening in a league matchup. They recently defeated Siletz Valley in four sets on Tuesday. They are currently 3-3 in league play.
Soccer
Siuslaw boy’s soccer sits atop the league at 4-0. They will be on the road today to Dayton. Dayton is 2-2 on the season with one draw. The game will be at 5pm.
Siuslaw Girl’s soccer was on the field last night against Elmira. The Vikings came out with the win outscoring the Falcons 3-2.
Football
Siuslaw football will have one more non-league game tomorrow evening against Cascade Christian. That game will air at 6:45 on KCST with a 7pm kickoff. It is a home game for the Vikings. Host Ryan Denning will be speaking with the coaches on the matchup and look at last week’s win against North Valley.
