Hotel Looking at 2025

Matt Braun with Braun Hospitality says that they are at the halfway point towards their goal of 4.75 million dollars to fully fund the Wyndham Microtel on Quince Street.  To date they have commitments from 9 investors at 2.33 million dollars.  Braun says there are about 15 more investors that they are currently vetting and believe that all the funds will soon be secured with construction beginning early next year.

“We’re still anticipating groundbreaking February/March of 2025 and expect to be submitting for permit in January in order to make that happen.”

There is a lapsing land use permit that will expire in the month of September and Braun says they are resubmitting paperwork to have that use extended.  The length of time it has taken to get everything in place has been longer than expected according to Braun but that things are finally coming together.
