Boy’s Soccer Improves to 6-1

The Viking boy’s soccer team continues to roll on opponents.  Yesterday the team faced Elmira.  Coach Tomaro said while the game started slowly, the Vikings built up steam.  After Elmira scored the first goal of the match it was another 25-30 minutes before the Vikings would find the net. But near the end of the half freshman Sailor Jensen score two consecutive goals to lead the Vikings to a 2-1 advantage at the half.  In the second half Asher Borgnino scored twice, Camden Linton, Charles Nelson and Korbyn Marler each scored once for a final 7-1 victory. The viks are now 6-1 and 2-0 in league play.

The Viking girls play today against Santiam Christian.
