Soccer Playoff
Gametime has been set for the first round of the special district soccer playoffs. The Siuslaw Vikings will host the 2A Western Christian/Amity. The Pioneers are ranked 40th. the game will be played at Hans Petersen Field on Saturday at 4:30. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate with cash. The winner will go on to face 5th ranked Dayton on Tuesday.
Viking Football
The Siuslaw Vikings football team will end the regular season on the road tomorrow against Coquille. The Red Devils are 2-2 in League play and 4-4 overall. In their 4 wins the team has averaged 40 points a game. The Vikings hope to end the season with a perfect record and are preparing for a playoff run which will begin next Friday.
