Ducks Advance to Championship Round
The Oregon Ducks punched their ticket to the Players Era Festival championship game with a 78-68 win over San Diego State on Tuesday, remaining undefeated at 7-0 this season. Oregon dominated the boards, outrebounding SDSU 41-24 and scoring 18 first-half points off offensive rebounds. TJ Bamba led the Ducks with 22 points, one of five players in double figures. A late first-half surge gave Oregon a 10-point lead at the break, which they extended early in the second half. Despite a strong SDSU rally cutting the lead to three, Oregon answered with clutch threes from Bamba, Brandon Angel, and Keeshawn Barthelemy to secure the win.
