Viking Basketball
The Viking Girls had a rough start to the basketball season last night at Glen Butler Court. The lady Viks were held to just 12 points while Taft pounded out 67 for the lopsided win.
The Viking Boys scored 38 points on the night, but Taft out gunned the Vikings putting up 66 for the non-league win.
Duck Basketball
The 12th ranked Oregon Ducks put up their first Big 10 win in Los Angeles last night led by Jackson Shelstad with 24 points and Keeshawn Barthelemy added 18. The Ducks had help from the bench with 23 points and 18 points off of turnovers in the 58-50 win over the USC Trojans. The Ducks are at home next against the UCLA Bruins on December 8th.
The Duck women improved to 7-2 with an 85-70 win over the Cougars of Washington State.
Tomorrow the Vikings are on the mat in wrestling action in Harrisburg.
