Athlete of the Week
The Sports Club, the Siuslaw News and Coast Radio Sports Congratulate senior wrestler Macali Lade as this week’s Athlete of the Week. Macali went undefeated to take the 120 pound title at the Devon Dawson Memorial Tournament on Friday. Pinning all three opponents including avenging a state title loss to Harrisburg’s Paxton Steele pinning her in 1 minute 19 seconds.
Honorable Mention
Honorable mention goes to another wrestler junior Jacob Mann who also went 3-0 on the day pinning all three opponents taking the 215 pound title.
Viking Basketball
The Siuslaw Vikings Boys and Girls Basketball team will premiere on KCST this evening beginning at 5:45. the Girls Game will be first with a 6pm tip off in Reedsport followed by the Boys Game at 7:30
Mapleton Basketball
The Mapleton Sailors will be on the court this evaning in Oak Ridge. Girls tip off first at 5:30
