Hoyle Shares Concerns Over Budget Stall
Congresswoman Val Hoyle expressed concern over the recent dismantling of a bi-partisan budget agreement that the congress had worked out. The congresswoman expressed concern that an unelected official could come in, even before an announcement by the incoming president and thwart the progress that was made.
“Even my republican colleagues that are talking off the record have said that they were incredibly upset about Elon Musk weighing in and telling them what to do and forcing them to bend the knee.”
Congresswoman Hoyle says she is concerned that we may have another shutdown like the one that crippled the staff of the US Coast Guard here in Oregon. She says no one is really sure what to expect.
“So it is just very chaotic and even republicans are going out to the media saying I have no idea what’s going on and we are all very frustrated.”
Hoyle says while she would love to be home for Christmas with her family, she was elected to do a job and will stay until the task is completed.
