College Basketball
The Oregon Ducks will be at home on Sunday to host the Weber State Wildcats. Game time on KCST will be at 1:30. This will be the final warmup before Big Ten action begins on January 2nd. The Ducks begin the regular season against Illinois.
The Oregon State Beavers will host Portland on Monday in college basketball. Pregame on KCFM will be at 5:30 with a 6pm tipoff.
Rose Bowl
The No. 1 seed Oregon Ducks, with a perfect 13-0 record, will face No. 8 Ohio State in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day. Oregon, the only undefeated team in the FBS, aims for its second-ever College Football Playoff semifinal appearance. This will mark the Ducks’ ninth Rose Bowl appearance, with three consecutive wins, including a 59-20 CFP semifinal victory in 2015. The game is a rematch of their October clash, where Oregon edged Ohio State 32-31 in an Autzen Stadium thriller. A win would advance Oregon to the Cotton Bowl semifinal and set a program record with 14 wins in a season. KCST will cover the game beginning at noon on Wednesday.
