Wind Contributes to Power Outages
Last night’s winds left more than 45 outages across the Florence and Siuslaw area. The outages are affecting more than 645 customers of Central Lincoln PUD. Central Lincoln first reported a transmission breakdown from the Bonneville Power Administration that caused outages north of Florence in Lincoln County. Crews worked overnight to restore that power, but will need to work through the day today to address the outages still pending. High winds caused debris on roadways. Travel to Eugene has not been disrupted.

Senate Bills 707 and 125 aim to exempt pharmacies and Medicaid providers from the Corporate Activity Tax, with OSCC voicing support. Official vote outcomes are still pending.
