Ducks Big-10 Run
The Oregon Ducks surged into the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals with a 72-59 victory over Indiana on Thursday, marking their eighth straight win. A 10-0 run to close the first half gave Oregon the lead, and despite multiple Indiana rallies, the Ducks never trailed again. Jackson Shelstad led with 18 points, while TJ Bamba and Brandon Angel combined for 31. Nate Bittle contributed defensively, altering shots and grabbing eight rebounds. Oregon now faces top-seeded Michigan State in the quarterfinals this morning
Baseball
With showers in the forecast for Tuesday it may be a wet start to Siuslaw Baseball and softball. The teams are scheduled to host Pleasant Hill that afternoon, but weather may cause a delay or even a cancellation of the game.
While the pre-season schedule is 15 games into the season today marks the first day for Oregon State University Baseball on KCFM. The 12-3 Beavers will host a three game series this weekend beginning this evening with Grand Canyon with a 5pm pregame on KCFM. Tomorrow the Beavers will host Santa Clara again at 5 pm and on Sunday a game two with Grand Canyon. That game time will be at 12:30.
