The Eugene Emeralds exploded for a season-high 19 runs Sunday in a dominant 19-8 win over the Everett AquaSox, capping a 5-1 series victory. Eugene set multiple single-game records, including most runs, hits, and home runs in an inning—scoring 8 in the 8th. Bo Davidson hit two home runs, and Drew Cavanaugh added a grand slam. Dylan Carmouche earned his fourth straight win, tossing six strong innings. The Ems have now won six of their last eight and return home Tuesday to host the Hillsboro Hops.

Littlefoots Champions

The Florence Littlefoots 12U team captured the Ian Spalding Classic championship Sunday in North Bend, powered by Andrew Briesacher’s two-run homer in the sixth inning. The Majors squad went unbeaten at 4-0-1, including an 8-2 win over Myrtle Point in the semifinals. Florence’s 10U and 8U teams both fell in Gold Bracket semifinal games—Minors dropped a 7-4 contest to Coos Bay, and the Rookies fell 16-4 to the top-seeded LC Tigers. The Rookies finished 3-2, including an 11-3 win earlier Sunday over Myrtle Point.
