Ems Win Streak Continues

The Eugene Emeralds continued their hot streak with a dominant 10-2 win over the Hillsboro Hops, extending their win streak to four and improving to 8-2 in the second half. Scott Bandura and Jonah Cox led the way early, with Cox tripling for the second straight night. Dayson Croes notched two RBIs, while Cesar Perdomo earned his sixth win, tossing five scoreless innings. Eugene’s +44 run differential leads the Northwest League, and they’ll go for their third straight win of the series in Thursday’s home finale.

Pat Casey – Another Hall of Fame

Legendary Oregon State baseball coach Pat Casey is headed to another hall of fame. Casey, who led the Beavers to national titles in 2006, 2007, and 2018, has been named to the American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame Class of 2026. He’ll be honored at the ABCA banquet in Columbus, Ohio, this January. Casey finished his OSU career with 900 wins—sixth-most in Pac-12 history—and helped send over 100 players to the MLB draft. This marks his second college baseball hall of fame induction in as many years.
