Ems Drop Second Straight; Beaver Ladies at Paradise Jam

Ems Drop Second Straight

The Eugene Emeralds dropped their second straight game to the Spokane Indians, falling 7-4 Thursday night. Spokane jumped out to a 7-1 lead by the third inning, capitalizing on a five-run rally that included a two-run homer by EJ Andrews Jr. Scott Bandura homered for the Ems, while Dayson Croes drove in two runs. Eugene’s bullpen held Spokane scoreless over the final five innings, with strong outings from Tyler Vogel and Matt Dunaway. The Ems, now 13-4 in the second half, still lead the division but Spokane trails by just 1.5 games with three to play.
