OSAA Moratorium Week
The OSAA Moratorium Week is now in effect, impacting all high school sports and activities statewide, including those at Siuslaw. During this seven-day period, there can be no contact between coaches and student-athletes, and no use of school athletic facilities by teams or staff. The rule applies to all OSAA-sanctioned activities like cheer, band, and speech. The goal is to give students and staff a full break. Any violations could result in fines or suspensions. Non-school events may continue, but without school involvement or high school students participating.
