Ems Fight Off Late Rally

The Eugene Emeralds held off a late rally to defeat the Everett AquaSox 6-4, tying the series at one game apiece. Jakob Christian led the offense with a double, a three-run homer, and four RBIs, while Dylan Carmouche picked up his sixth win, allowing just one run over six strong innings. Drew Cavanaugh added a two-run homer in the seventh. Everett threatened late, loading the bases in the ninth, but Josh Wolf closed it out for his first save. The Ems move to 24-8 in the second half of the season.
