The Eugene Emeralds shut out the Tri-City Dust Devils 3-0 Thursday night, bouncing back from Wednesday’s loss to take a 2-1 series lead. Both starters went seven scoreless innings, with Cesar Perdomo allowing just four hits, striking out seven, and lowering his ERA to 3.89. In the ninth, Quinn McDaniel drove in two runs, and Damian Bravo added a sacrifice fly for insurance. Austin Strickland closed it out for his league-leading eighth win. College Football

The Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers are both gearing up for their 2025 season openers, set for Saturday, August 30.
