Viking Soccer

The Siuslaw boys’ soccer team fell just short in a 4–3 loss to Sisters. The Outlaws came out strong with quick passing and three early goals, catching the Vikings off guard. Siuslaw rallied before halftime with three goals of their own — two by Kale Jensen and one from Camden Linton — to close the gap to 4–3 at the break. Terrance Masterman made five first-half saves. In the second half, Siuslaw controlled possession and created several solid chances from Asher Borgnino, Bentley Nelson, and Kale Jensen, but couldn’t find the equalizer. Masterman added four more saves as the Vikings pushed until the end. Coach Londi Tomaro says the team will use the experience to fine-tune for playoffs, with a non-league tune-up match at Pacific High School on October 27th. The Siuslaw Girls soccer team lost 4-2 against Sisters.
