Football Homecoming; Volleyball; Senior Night for Soccer

Football Homecoming

The Siuslaw Viking Football team is heading into the final two weeks of the season entering tomorrow night’s matchup against Brookings Harbor undefeated in league play.  The game is also Siuslaw’s homecoming, which coach Sam Johnson says historically has been a distraction for his players.  Brookings Harbor has not had a league win this season and would like to knock the Vikings off the top of the hill.  Coach Johnson and play by play announcer Ryan Denning will preview tomorrow night’s matchup this evening on the Point After on KCST at 7pm.

Volleyball

Siuslaw Volleyball will finish up their season this evening against Douglas.  The Vikings will host the Trojans beginning at 6pm at Glen Butler Court.

Senior Night for Soccer

It is senior night for the Viking girls soccer team as they also conclude their regular season schedule against Elmira.  Elmira is winless on the season. A win by the Vikings will help them finish their season with a 6-7-1 record a significant improvement over last year’s team which ended the season with a 3-9 record in league play. Boys soccer will finish the regular season on Tuesday.

Mapleton Volleyball will finish their season with an away game this evening against Alsea.
