Perry to be Inducted to SOU Hall of Fame

Siuslaw High School Athletic Director and Four-time All-American thrower Max Perry is being inducted into the Southern Oregon University Sports Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025. Perry excelled during his two seasons with the Raiders, becoming just the third SOU men’s track and field athlete to record multiple top-two finishes at the same national meet. He was runner-up in both the hammer throw and shot put at the 2012 NAIA Outdoor Championships, and also earned top-five national finishes in 2011 and 2012. Perry remains the school record-holder in the hammer throw, and ranks fourth all-time at SOU in the shot put.
