Viking Basketball
The Siuslaw Vikings host North Valley this Saturday in an OSAA Endowment Games twin bill at Glenn Butler Court. Action begins at one p.m. a junior varsity game. The Lady Vikings’ varsity game tips off at 2:30, followed by the boys’ varsity matchup. Admission is eight dollars for adults and five dollars for students. North Valley is moving from 3A to 4A next school year under the OSAA redistricting plan.
College Hoops
The Oregon Ducks men’s basketball team will face Omaha from Matthew Knight arena on Sunday. KCST will cover the game beginning at 4:30 with a 5pm tipoff. The Oregon State Beavers will be on the court at Gill coliseum against Santa Clara beginning at 2:30 Sunday.
The Lady Ducks will face #6 Michigan on Monday at 6pm while the lady Beavers will head to California to face San Francisco on Sunday.
