Athlete of the Week
The sports Club and coast Radio sports congratulate sophomore Viking basketball player Jericho Lake as this week’s athlete of the week. In the last two games Jericho has scored 31 points for the Vikings and helped propel them to the win in Saturday’s matchup against North Valley. He also pulled down 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals.
Honorable mention goes to senior Tom Morgan. In the past two games Tom has put up 20 points with a strong effort on defense.
Viking Basketball
Last night’s game against North Bend was a tough battle for the Vikings. Despite 4 three-pointers from Lake the Bulldogs pulled out a one score win defeating the Vikings 58-56. The Vikings only had 3 free throw attempts on the night..
The Siuslaw Girls put up their fourth win on the season defeating Oakridge 48-19. The girls have matched their win total over the previous 3 years with the win.
