Mapleton Basketball Rescheduled
Last night Mapleton Basketball games had to be cancelled due to inclement weather. Ice in the triangle lake area force the cancellation. The games have been rescheduled for Monday.
Vikings vs Harrisburg – Peach Bowl
The Siuslaw Vikings will cap off non-League play this evening at home against Harrisburg. The girls will be up first at 6pm followed by the boys. The games will not air on KCST tonight due to the Peach Bowl. Beginning at 3pm the pregame for the Peach Bowl featuring the Oregon Ducks and the Indiana Hoosiers will air on KCST with a 4:30 kickoff. The winner will face Miami Hurricanes now coached by former duck head coach Mario Cristobal.
College Basketball
Oregon Duck men’s basketball will be back on the court on Tuesday. The Ducks were defeated last night at home by Ohio State 72-62. The lady ducks will face Michigan State at matthew Knight Arena on Sunday.
The Oregon State Beavers men’s basketball posted a 68-55 victory over Seattle last night. Jorge Diaz Graham recorded his first double-double of his career scoring 13 and rebounding 11 in the win. The Beaver women defeated Washington State 78-64 and will face Seattle tomorrow.
