Senior Night Wrestling

Siuslaw wrestlers turned in a strong showing on Senior Night Thursday at Glenn Butler Court, with the Viking boys sweeping their duals and the Lady Vikings earning a split. The boys defeated Coquille 36-22 and Reedsport 45-18 to complete the sweep. On the girls side, Siuslaw earned an 18-6 win over Reedsport before dropping a close 18-15 decision to Coquille. The Viking boys are back in action Saturday at the Screaming Eagle Invitational at Santiam Christian in Adair Village. The Lady Vikings return to the mat Wednesday for a four-way dual at Cascade High School in Turner.

High School Basketball

The Viking will be on the court this evening against Coquille pregame on KCST will be at 5:15.  Last night the Sailor boy lost to Eddyville charter in a one sided game.  Eddyville outscored the Sailors 64-27. Mapleton girls dominated Eddyville 56-19.

College Hoops

The Oregon Duck men will be on the court on Sunday in Washington to take on the Huskies, gametime on KCST is at 11:30.

Oregon State outlasted Gonzaga 92-87 in overtime Thursday night in a matchup of pregame WCC co-leaders. Kennedie Shuler posted 17 points and a school-record 10 steals, while Jenna Villa scored 31 as the Beavers survived a late Gonzaga three to force overtime and secured the rivalry win at home.  The Oregon State men will return to action on Wednesday.
