Vikings
The Siuslaw Vikings boys basketball team fell on the road Tuesday, losing 55-44 to South Umpqua in Far West League play. Siuslaw drops to 10-8 overall and 1-2 in league. The Vikings return home Friday to face Glide. South Umpqua and Douglas remain unbeaten in league play at 3-0. The Viking Girls also lost to South Umpqua 42-22
Mapleton
The Mapleton boys fall to 2-2 in league play with a loss last night to Alsea while the Mapleton girls cruise to a 4-0 start in league play with a 41-28 win.
College
The Oregon Ducks men’s basketball team will host UCLA this evening at Matthew Knight Arena. the game will be on KCST at 7:30. the Oregon State Beavers will be in LA to face Loyola Marymount beginning at 6:30 on KCFM.
