The two distinctly different formats are both served by Coast Radio’s News & Sports departments featuring the area’s only daily local news. In addition, both stations carry ABC news at the top of each hour. Our full-time award-winning News Director prepares local news six times a day on both stations and subscribes to the Associate Press providing the area with current regional news. Coast Radio News also produces local public affairs programming and commentary as well as coverage of breaking news events. Local on-air personalities provide a constant stream of current information including ever changing weather forecasts, traffic alerts, public service announcements and general information of local concern.
