Prices at the pump are on the way down again. The national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded, as measured by Triple-A, dropped six cents this past week to $3.59, while Oregon’s statewide average fell by about 2 ½ cents and is at $3.73. After holding steady for several weeks, the local average fell six cents this past week as well… it’s at $3.63 a gallon. Despite the drop in prices, they still remain about 70-cents higher than a year ago when the Oregon average was $3.03 and the local average was $2.90.
