The Florence City Council will get together at six tonight to talk about ways to help spur economic recovery. Mayor Phil Brubaker gained approval from the council to set aside $50-thousand to fund economic recovery efforts. Brubaker wants to survey new residents about what attracted them to the area and then use what they learn to develop a marketing strategy aimed at increasing tourism.
