The Vancouver Canadians took an early five-run lead, but the Eugene Emeralds battled back to cut the deficit to one run in the bottom of the ninth inning last night at PK Park. But that rally was cut short for Eugene, ending in a 5-4 loss. The loss also ended the season for the Emeralds who fell short in their quest to win the West Division of the Northwest League.
