The 16th annual Florence Chowder Blues and Brews will once again be a three day festival this year… but not all of it will be at the Florence Events Center. The FEC will be converted to a Blues Club on Friday and Saturday, October 7th and 8th featuring a lineup of eight different local and regional bands on stage, including the KUSH Band and Chuey and the Regulators. There will also be a variety of Northwest microbrews and the Oregon Coast Chowder Cookoff on Saturday afternoon. The festival will wrap up on Sunday the 9th with a “Chowder Trail” through Old Town Florence that will include live music from the Gazebo Park on Bay Street and chowder tasting in a variety of locations.
