Local gas prices below average for state

The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded increased by about a penny locally this past week, it’s at $3.76.  At the same time the statewide average, as measured by Triple-A, held steady at $3.84.  Prices continue to fall in other areas of the country however, as Triple-A reports the national average price dropped by six cents this week and stands at $3.58 a gallon.
