PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong

Suh (ehn-DAHM’-uh-kehn soo) was pulled over yesterday afternoon in

Portland and ticketed for speeding. The Oregonian reports he also

was cited for improperly signaling and not carrying proof of

insurance. Suh is a graduate of Portland’s Grant High School and

the University of Nebraska.

SALEM, Ore. (AP) – Salem police say they recovered a stolen

vehicle used as a getaway car in a Vancouver, Wash., robbery and

arrested two suspects. Police say an officer spotted the car last

night and it sped away. After a short chase, it stopped in a

residential area and three people ran off. One got away.

MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) – A former city councilman in Talent, Ore.,

who was accused of attempting to take nude photographs of a teenage

girl has entered a modified guilty plea to a charge of coercion.

KDRV reports Dan Goyette entered his Alford plea yesterday and was

sentenced to three years of supervised probation and 120 hours of

community service.

COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. (AP) – Authorities in Cottage Grove say a

pickup sideswiped an SUV before hitting a park bench and crashing

through the front of a Bank of America branch. KVAL reports that

police say the truck’s driver suffered some type of medical issue

yesterday and was taken to a hospital.
