Eugene scored three runs in the top half of the first inning and never trailed on the way to a 6-1 Northwest League win yesterday over the Volcanoes in Keizer. Jeremy Baltz continued his run at the plate, going three-for-five with two RBI and one run scored. The Emeralds best hitter so far, Baltz has accumulated a .370 batting average as Eugene improves to five-and-seven in league play.
