Sandblasters fall below .500

The game ended early last night when a past-pall allowed the tenth run to score and the Albany Rockets downed the Three Rivers Sandblasters 10-nothing in Albany.  The result dropped the Blasters to 7-and-8 in league play, five games behind West Salem-Dallas in fourth place.  The Rockets are in fifth, improving to five-and-seven.  Three Rivers will be back on the diamond this evening for two non-league games against the Eugene Challengers.  Game one will air on Coast Radio Sports beginning at 4:45.
