The Eugene Emeralds put up 20 hits on the way to a 12-4 win over the Yakima Bears last night. Corey Adamson was two-for-three at the plate with two doubles and two RBI; Jonathon Roof and Alberth Martinez were both three-for-five; and seven Emeralds pitchers combined to give up ten hits in the effort last night. Juan Marcano was driven from the mound after giving up four hits and three runs in the first inning…. Matthew Shepherd pitched two-and-a-third innings for his third win of the season. The two teams meet again tonight for game three-of-five in Yakima.
