Boys and Girls Club of Western Lane County earns $2,000 grant thanks to Coast Insurance Services being named Safeco Insurance® Make More Happen Award finalist

Florence, Oregon (August 7, 2012) — Safeco Insurance has named Coast Insurance Services in Florence as a Make More Happen Award finalist for its volunteer service with Boys and Girls Club of Western Lane County. The award includes a $2,000 grant for Boys and Girls Club of Western Lane County on behalf of the agency and entry in the “Make More Happen Awards” voting event for a chance to earn an additional $7,500 for Boys and Girls Club of Western Lane County.

Safeco’s Make More Happen Awards are designed to recognize agencies that build a stronger community through volunteer work and multiply the impact of that work through grants to nonprofit organizations.

The voting event is designed to involve local communities across the country in selecting their favorite volunteers. Photos of the top 24 Make More Happen Award recipients, including Coast Insurance Services, are featured in this contest, which runs from now through Aug. 27. The nonprofits supported by the top four vote-getters each will receive an extra $7,500!

Coast Insurance Services employees recently held a volunteer event with Boys and Girls Club of Western Lane County, helping to raise much-needed funds at the Fraudville Lip Sync Contest.
