GLADSTONE, Ore. (AP) – Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a 23-year-old man by a police officer in the south Portland suburb of Gladstone. The Clackamas County Sheriff’s office released few details of the shooting. But a man who identified himself as the 23-year-old man’s father told KATU-TV that his son was depressed and had talked about suicide.

SALEM, Ore. (AP) – A court document says a 12-year-old boy told police that he awoke during a sleepover at a Woodburn, Ore., priest’s house to find the man touching him.
