Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports…
A passed ball on a third strike allowed the winning run to get on base and Tri-City’s Rosell Herrera advanced from station to station on a sacrifice bunt, a stolen base and finally an RBI single to give the Dust Devils a 4-3 Northwest League win over the Eugene Emeralds last night in Pasco, Washington.
Despite the loss, the Emeralds keep pace, a game behind the Vancouver Canadians in second place in the West Division. The Canucks sustained a loss last night in Boise.
The Emeralds and Dust Devils will continue with game two of a five game series in Washington this evening. The regular season wraps up next Friday.
