On the prep volleyball schedule this evening… the Siuslaw Vikings will host North Bend for their final regular season home match. The Vikings, at 7-1 in Far West League play are one game ahead of Sutherlin headed into the final week of the season.
The Reedsport Braves have dipped to number two in the rankings. They’ll host the Glide Wildcats.
The Mapleton Sailors are tied with Triangle Lake at the top of the Mountain West Coast Division… They’ll take on Alsea in Mapleton this evening.
On the cross country course several prep teams will converge on Sandpines Golf Links this afternoon for the “Run for the Brownies”, a three-K warmup for next week’s Far West District Meet. All runners will start at 4:30.
And, on the gridiron… the Oregon Ducks are in Tempe, Arizona this evening for a Pac-12 matchup against Arizona State. Kickoff is at six… the pregame show on 106
