Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports…
Boys basketball last night… The Siuslaw Vikings jumped out to an early lead, never trailing, as they downed the visiting Junction City Tigers last night 53-46 for a non-league victory. Siuslaw has improved to two-and-oh to start the season and will be at home tomorrow afternoon for another non-league matchup against 5A powerhouse Wilsonville… tipoff at three o’clock.
For the girls, Junction City jumped to an 18-3 lead in the first quarter and never looked back for a 68-17 win over the Siuslaw Vikings.
Coming up on the schedule… Mapleton and Reedsport will meet in Mapleton on the court this evening. Viking Wrestling will open the season in Springfield tomorrow… and on the college court it’s Oregon State hosting Grambling State tomorrow at one…airtime on KCFM is at 12:30. Oregon and Idaho State tip off at 3:30… that game on KCST at three.
