Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports…
It came down to the wire three times last night in El Paso with the UTEP Miners coming away with a 91- 84 triple overtime win against the Oregon Ducks. Damyean Dotson scored 20 points and Carlos Emory had 18 for the Ducks who, at 9-and-2, lost their first true road game of the year.
In Corvallis, Oregon State had another lackluster performance early, but held on for a 69 – 53 victory over the Howard Bison. Eric Moreland and Roberto Nelson each scored 14; Devon Collier had a dozen for the Beavers who won their fourth straight and improved to 6-0 at home… 8-and-2 overall.
Liz Harry had 19 points and 12 rebounds and the Mapleton Sailors downed Eddyville 40 -22 last night for a Mountain West Girls Basketball win on the road.. Abbie Webb added eight points and eight rebounds for the Lady Sailors.
On the court tonight… the Vikings and the Coquille Red Devils will meet in non-league basketball action… the boys in Coquille at seven… airtime on Coast Radio Sports is at 6:45. The girls will be at home.
