PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Multnomah County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a Troutdale man accused of raping a developmentally disabled woman. KGW reports a grand jury indicted Cedric Graves last week. If convicted he faces as much as 20 years in prison. Graves is accused of raping the woman in his van after offering her a ride. He calls the allegation a lie.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Two men suspected of selling pills that led to the overdose death of a Portland woman are facing drug charges. Police say Herbert Miller and Stephen Frias sold prescription pills to 60-year-old Karen Sue Osborne who was found dead Monday at her home. KOIN reports when police searched Frias’ home they found prescription pills and 11 firearms, five of which had been stolen. The two men were arraigned yesterday.

SEATTLE (AP) – Two people who refused to tell a Seattle grand jury what they may know about a group of Portland anarchists are scheduled to be released from federal custody this afternoon. Katherine Olejnik and Matthew Duran of Olympia have been held five months at a SeaTac detention center in civil contempt.

SALEM, Ore. (AP) – After seven years of putting the bite on crime, Salem police dog Gino is retiring. Gino is nearly 12 years old and will spend retirement as the family pet of his handler, Officer Darrell Wood. The Statesman Journal reports Gino helped officers capture 283 suspects.
