GRESHAM, Ore. (AP) – Police are looking for a Portland woman who failed to return her three grandchildren to her daughter last night in Gresham as expected. Police say 58-year-old Barbara Cameron may be having a mental health crisis. Police say she frequently talks to herself in religious-themed phrases. She may be driving a beige 2000 Toyota Corolla, Oregon license 702BYF. The children are 11, 6 and a 2.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A state House committee will consider three bills this week that could add fees for Oregon drivers if they want to use studded tires on their vehicles. Annual damage to state roads from the metal cleats is estimated at upward of $40 million. The House Transportation Committee will hear the measures Wednesday.

MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) – A man was struck by a car and killed last night while trying to cross a road near Medford. Fire officials tell the Mail Tribune the man was hit while trying to cross a dark stretch of Table Rock Road.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Police say a motorcycle rider was killed last night in Portland when he crashed into a pole on North Greeley Avenue. It was the ninth traffic fatality this year.
